Substitute Teachers
We always have a need for substitute teachers and welcome
applications all year round.
Substitutes may choose the days and grade levels they would like to
teach. Substitutes work on an on-call basis. Valley compensates
substitutes with a teachers’ certification $100 per day. Substitutes
without a certification are compensated at $85 per day. Substitutes must produce a valid Arizona State fingerprint card, which school personnel can help in obtaining.

| Employment Status: | On call, depending on availability |
| Job Description: | Provides classroom instruction as directed by teacher lesson plans. Grades papers according to teacher’s directions. |
| Minimum Requirements: | High school diploma and ability to pass background check. |
| Desired Qualities: | Bachelor’s Degree and previous teaching experience is desired. |
| Salary Range: | Certified: $100 per day. Non-certified: $85.00 per day. Long-term assignments: above pay plus $20 per day. (applies after the twentieth consecutive day of assignment) |
