Music And Clubs

Valley Academy has a wide variety of activities that students can select and participate in before or after school. Our students love to be involved and participate with other students. Here is a list of our music activities and clubs:

National Junior Art Honor Society – grades 6-8
Band – grades 4-8
Chorus – grades 3-8
Chess Club – grades 4-8
Science Clubs – grades 5-8
Math Club – grades 7-8
Scrabble Club – grades 4-8

Student Council

The Valley Academy Student Council (grades 4-8) supports the school and community with several fundraising events throughout the year. Student Council members are also responsible for properly flying our nation’s flag in front of our main building. In the pictures below, student council members gather clothing donations and ship them to a local charity.

Special Days, Field Trips, and Annual Events

On the monthly Spirit Day, students and staff wear their Valley Academy t-shirts to show Coyote Pride and celebrate with ice cream at lunch. Field Day and Turkey Trot are spring and fall athletic events for the whole school. Field trips are great fun for the students and are carefully chosen to support and enhance the subject matter being studied. Book fairs and the Spring Festival add even more fun to our school year, thanks to our hard-working and creative parent organization, VAPO.
